Opposition MPAs defer move
NO-TRUST MOTION AGAINST DEPUTY SPEAKER

KARACHI: The members of opposition benches in Sindh Assembly (SA) warned that they would table a no-confidence motion against Deputy Speaker Syeda Shehla Raza, if she does not improve her behaviour. The opposition members including the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM)-Pakistan, the Pakistan Muslim League Functional (PML-F), the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPAs talking to media persons outside the assembly floor said that the opposition was on the same page and is united on no-confidence issue. PML-F MPA Nusrat Sehar Abbasi said that the attitude of the deputy speaker is bad towards elected MPAs of the opposition. She said that the joint opposition has prepared a no-confidence motion against her and giving her final chance to abstain from misbehaving with them and if she even does not improve her attitude then they will not let her run proceedings of the assembly. MQM-Pakistan MPA Sumeeta Afzal Syed speaking said that deputy speaker Shehla Raza does not conduct proceedings in a good manner. She said that Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani does runs the business of house in a calm way. PML-N MPA Sorath Thebo taking the deputy speaker to task said that she (Shehla) runs the business of assembly with using unusual language. PTI-MPA Dr. Seema Zia said that the deputy speaker is also a lady she must treat them in better a way. She said that her way of conducting proceedings in the assembly disappoints them.
