Nasir Shah reviews security arrangements for Muharram

KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Information Syed Nasir Hussain Shah and local government minister Jam Khan Shoro visited the different Imambargahs of the city and enquired about the command and control and security arrangements for mohrram-ul-haram. He also visited the Hussainia Irania Kharadar, Khawja Shia Ashna Ashri Jama Mosque Nashtar Park and Numaich Chowrangi and other parts of the city. On the directions of Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah to review and monitoring the Security System during the Moharam-ul-Haram. MNA Shahjahan Balouch, Chairman DMC South Malik Fayaz, MD Water Board Syed Hashim Raza Zaidi and Officers of Water Board and DMC were also accompanied with them. Syed Nasir Hussain Shah and local government minister Jam Khan Shoro enquired about the Security measures and facilities provided by respective Imam Barghas administration. The ministers directed the M D water board that they insure the provision of water supply and sewage System around the Imam Barghas to facilitate the people. They also directed to provide three Generators for Lyari area at Tannery pump, Chakiwara and Meera Naka on priority basis. On the occasion Haseeb Hassan and local leaders were also present. Later the ministers talking to media, said that the government of Sindh is taking all possible security measures during the Moharm-ul-Haram and provide full proof security to the processions and Majalis. To ensure it through walk through gates and deployment of police and rangers throughout the routes for safety and protection of people. They said that to ensure law and order, would provide assistance to Mayor Waseem Akhter. Mayor with the help of citizens, pointed out where he wants to help, the government will provide all help and support to him, they added.
