Mothers complaining about their kids’ poor eating habits is a common sight. Talk about fussy eaters and all the moms in the world will unite. ‘He doesn’t eat vegetables.’ ‘She hates daal.’ ‘He hates milk.’ ‘She can’t stand the sight of fish.’ And the list is endless. But here is some respite: Studies have proven that it is normal for kids to be super picky about what they eat in the age group of 2 – 6 years. Having said that, this is also the age when kids have dramatic growth spurts and need nutrition to back it up. A recent study also stated that 80 per cent of your child’s brain is developed by the age of 5.
