LAHORE: Ousted Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif today said that it was already apparent to punish him at any cost as he appeared in accountability court on account of corruption references filed by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against him.
Speaking to the media person at Judicial Complex, Nawaz Sharif said that his struggle for the elimination of dual standard will soon reach its logical conclusion. He stated the judges used such harsh words in the verdict that are normally given by political opponents.
Punishment is being compellingly implemented on us, he added. Sharif further said that he has been trapped in Panama Leaks case in the same way he was sentenced in 1999 in plane hijacking case. -Agencies
