LAHORE; Health Service Week began in Punjab yesterday. Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in a statement said the objective of observing the week is to create awareness among the people about importance of health and sanitation. The Chief Minister said medicine worth billions of rupees are being provided free of costs in the government hospitals. Medical camps and blood screening and vaccination centers will be set up at Tehshil and district headquarters hospital across the province during this week. He said that the check-up of pregnant women and vaccination will also be conducted in the camps.
